Greetings from sunny Cincinnati where the livin’ is easy and the river’s goin’ down….

Several things that you might help me with today – My dear friend Amanda just lost everything in a fire this week; she has a 2-year-old son who, thankfully, was not at home at the time. His entire bedroom burned and his clothes, crib, everything are gone. If you have any clothes for a young boy in sizes 2 – 3T, please please drop them off at the front door of my condo – 400 Pike Street - I will get them to her a.s.a.p. By the way, a crib would help also. Thanks ever so much.

Now on another sad note – our City lost one of it’s most influential, wonderful men of all times - Donald Spencer passed away on Tuesday. Our hearts and prayers go out to his beloved wife Marian. His Memorial Service will be next week. See the Cincinnati Enquirer for details.

Ho-Down Tiki Party & Dinner” on Friday, May 14th at 7:30 p.m. Chef Joshua Campbell will be preparing funky island fare and Molly Wellman will be mixing up classic Tiki Bar drinks. Locations will be provided the day of (because it’s a secret!) Tickets are $50 per person. Contact Mayberry at 513-381-5999 to purchase tickets. This will be a HUMDINGER, to put it mildly J ….

O’Malley’s in the Alley is FOR SALE – let’s find someone FUN to buy it !! How about a couple Bengals who can hang out there and entertain us ? Perhaps when our man Chad quits Dancing, he can be the new proprietor ?? Let’s get it going ……great space; add on a rooftop deck and make it our biggest downtown Sports Bar….eat your heart out Greg Schroeder ! J

Celebrate Mother’s Day by driving out to the country and visiting us on the top of the Hill …..in a private country estate on 7+ acres…. George and I are having the Haller Estate open from 3:00 – 5:00 this Sunday and you couldn’t find a more relaxing setting to idle away your afternoon. Wear off that Mother’s Day Brunch, Honey ! J………. 956 Old US Rt 52 in New Richmond …..we’ll provide cocktails if we know you’re coming out.

And now I have to get ready for this night’s event – “THE ART OF MAKING MEMORIES” is this evening at the Taft Art Museum in the gardens…..it is the annual event for the Alzheimer’s Association and tonight George and I are the Honorary Co-Chairs. (we are still wondering about the “honorary” part?? )….it will be a great event with lots of surprises in store – even the Gelato tasting has been kept a secret.
