Welcome to March – Oh Lord, let the snow be gone for another year! …. Bring on the daffodils…….

In case you missed last Friday’s Business Courier, we have opened our new Sibcy Cline office Downtown. Come by and visit – 212 East Sixth Street.

In case you were at the Olympics and totally missed the news for the past 17 days, Jean-Robert WILL be opening a new restaurant on Vine Street between 7th and 8th SOON. Now how we are all going to fit into his reservation schedule is another issue. But I am sure he will find a way to entertain us all. Congratulations, Jean Ro!

I have attached a Party Invitation – please note that this is a splashy after-work (translated: no black tie!) party put on by our very own Shakespeare Company with lots of beverages, mingling and hanging out with all the fun people in one of our City’s most gorgeous party spaces. Thank you Taft Stettinius. Hope to see you on the 11th.

NEW BUSINESS opening today - Eden Floral Boutique - The Germania Building at the corner of 12th and Walnut. Kelly Murphy and Kelly Dragoo are moving from East Walnut Hills to OTR – stop in and welcome the 2 Kellys. This will be a great new floral shop for all of us to visit and support. 281-3336 for orders or well wishes.

“Becky’s New Car” is opening at the Ensemble Theatre next week – This will have you rolling in the aisles! rsvp@cincyetc.com Lynn Meyers says, “Don’t Miss This One, Christine” ….. Lynn knows, trust me.

Speaking of Theatre, our most infamous Theatre Critic Mr. Rick Pender & his wife Joan have just bought a 5-story building in Over-the-Rhine on East 12th Street – they are turning the top 2 floors into their new home, complete with outdoor space on the top for Zoe. (their pet; not their child). So, in the meantime, if you know anybody who wants a cool house on Prospect Hill, they have a beauty that can own it. 453 Milton Street with incredible views, parking, 2 decks + patio and exquisite gardens.

Call for a showing….235-8662.

Speaking of Rick Pender who is also the Development Director of the Opera, George and I have just listed a large 3-story brownstone on Elm Street in the block before Music Hall. Perfect place for a single family home or a mix of home and studio; it’s across from Washington Park & a half block from the new School for Creative and Performing Arts. In case you haven’t seen the plans for the NEW Washington Park, let me know and I will email you some renderings. They are wonderful! Another thanks to 3CDC.

And that is all the news I have today – I want you to spend more time working on your Party reservations than reading an email !!

Let me hear from you. Send news and business ! And I’ll see you on the 11th J
